Automata by arctoa Automata by arctoa
Updated 09/01/2013 @ 13:40

or, A Dream Fever Freneticy of Vertigo Automata.

Another image from the mothballed Spillers Mill, since demolished. Part of a larger series that explored abandoned industry, entitled Forlętan.

Not sure what happened with this one; I transitioned straight from utter frustration with the original clean composition to producing an analogue of a triple exposure almost without input from higher brain functions. I think I like the outcome, almost to the point where I may revisit one or two recent uploads.

That said, the technique could use some work.

this one reminds me of A. L. Coburn's photos back in  the day, in the futurist fashion, nice !

Thank-you kindly for the comment; a few people have pointed out the Futurist aesthetic, and I'm glad of that.

I love automata. I'm an Automata Theorist. But, seriously I build directed labelled graphs every day.

Also, this is really cool. This is much more complex than any of this sort that I've taken. Maybe I will upload some at some point. :D
