First new work in a while. Technically a portrait, and the first of a short series. Playing with geometry again.

The shapes remind me of snow. So portrait in a snow storm. Polar bear in the arctic?
Yeah ok. Lemme just compliment this piece and leave the ramblings else where? :highfive:

I really like the discrete geometrical shape in the centre, it gives a nice shape contrast with the background =)

Thank-you kindly. It's an effect I've had in mind for years, but this is only the second time I've properly explored it.

I get more and more mesmerized the longer I look at it... cubes popping up everywhere and melting back into the subtle flowing portrait form. Excellent!

I appreciate the idea you're bringing across in the title. One does not respond to the stimuli that is the other. Which is which, is up to the viewer I suppose.

Indeed "in a while"! :)
Maybe you will find some more time when CV time ends.
This one is a fine combination of wave flow and geometric
input.

Ah yes, the role certainly keeps me busy in an artistic sense. I hadn't even realised just how much time had passed since I last produced any work of my own; it's devious like that!

This is a very subtle composition that I can imagine part of a series. I like the ethereal quality of the image together with the geometric explanation - Very interesting indeed Darren
