This is the second shot from my Deadwoods series, which looks at decay from a natural perspective, rather than the man-made regression that is my Everything Must Go collection of images.

This shot was taken in Cramlington park, and is part of a succession of similarly-styled images that will be uploaded in the near future. They were created for a college project looking at narrow focus and the actions of nature through the seasons (and years).

There are more examples to come in the near future.

Thank-you for that, and for the favourite-list addition: I appreciate it.

nice work - the limited DOF keeps us right at that little lichen while we still notice all the textures - well done

If I were to just comment with: "Silent noise." would it make any sense? 'cause that's what this is like for me.
:iconarctoa:
Yeah, I enjoyed messing around with the narrow focus. Thank-you for taking the time to comment, it's appreciated.
:iconarctoa:
It does make some sense, although I'm sure it makes more to you than it does to anyone else. Hah.
:iconashenweepingwillow:
of course :D

Yeah, that lens is a lot of fun to work with; I like messing around with narrow focus and bokeh. Thank-you for the comment. :]
