Or, Forget the Night Ahead.
If the toning appears particularly wonky, let me know. This is my first piece I've worked on using my new monitor and the colour-space is all wrong compared to what I am used to.
It's a single exposure, with camera rotation and lens zoom during exposure. The model also shifted from one side of the frame to the other before the shutter closed.
Make of this what you will.
So wonderfully disembodied. A fallen angel caught in the net. Love those reddish and cyanish greys.
Moment captured, fleating sadness, memories of undone...these are my associations...great piece!
The emotions I feel when viewing this piece makes me think of the disjointed, surreal shock of having a tragedy laid at your feet.
what a poetry here!
WOW!! What a wonderful mystic work!! Outstanding, dear friend!!
It is amazing how well you conceive and portray abstractions. Great work. The toning has come out pretty well too.
Beautiful move! If I didn't read your explanation, I think it's abstract. I like this thin line between reality and abstraction.
i appreciate the explanation beneath! cool buddy
A winged thing, bound.
I love it !
looks fine.. but then I have come to the image "cold" I have no idea of your preconceptions and expectations around the shot.. buy your self a monitor colour calibrator you will be so glad you did I bought a Spyder years ago now.. I have to refresh the profile every month but it works a treat
Heh, 'looks fine' will do me for now. I'll check out calibrators, although they might be a little out of my price range at present; I need to put a new system together first! Either way, many thanks for the comment; it's appreciated.
another angel in pain. Beautiful!
