Catatonic CatalepsyAn(other) awakening
in silence; alone, and
fearful of the heartbeats that
shatter brittle bones: ground to dust
and scattered to the dead air
as ash; a sacrifice to the ghosts
that haunt my memories.

It's a supplication:
Motes are caught in the wan light
and glitter - for a moment -
like stellar fields, before winking
out before and behind my eyes.

Night returns:
This darkened room is a living tomb
and I am the mummy, sightless and
bound to the insanity of the search
for reality to end this calamity-

And it's a crisis
in the heads & hearts
of the lonely; tired, and tied
to funerary pyres.

The night is a mine-field
and I

An Autumnal Tale in BlackDarkness descends upon
black capillary byways;
collapsing networks grid-
locked beneath clouds
and the ceaseless rain:
there's no peace tonight,

As the rush-hour beckons
with red lights that bleed
into this nocturnal diorama
of choking car engines that
snake toward zero: It's an
Autumnal tale in black.

Trapped in the confines
of an elephantine interior
and lit by the sickly glow
of digits, I reside: bound
to this infernal machinery
as the gears grind onward

To their empty destination.
Without is the chaos whilst
within I wonder what led to
our loss before a lifeless
creation: this cold city of
automation.

DisintegrationDisintegration:
it's a bloom in
efflorescense;
a mitochondrial
malediction of
sharp spirals
to nadir
in the blink of
bloodshot eyes.

It begins
with a string of words;
a litany of syllables
and spittle
that distort my dreams
one scene at a time.

- It's like an unravelling
of film from stricken reels -

Colours unwind,
and become searing
pointillist scars
in my vision;
blots of migraine-bright
light which grinds black
like a negative of
failure-stacked
Roscharch tests:

Mental markers
of clarity, coalesced
to calamity.

Disintegration:
the resolution
of a whole into
bleeding holes;

And the lights
that once marked

DarwinismOf storms and ink smears:
deviated perceptions
of evolution

Swirl amorphously
without (and within) blank eyes
and the cold-coffee

Cups of paycheck drones,
balanced between dark and light
precariously.

Convergence of Mind + MatterA man, four walls,
clad in clinical-wasteland white
and his recurring dream
of the End.

Cut
to visions of
altered infinities,
distorted dimensions rushing through
spiral-painter personae;
of shadow-worlds
captured in shades of
black and blue.

What lies
without is within:
symbiontic symmetries of
fractured imaginations and
a frantic Institution.
Patient & place
converge

- In labyrinthine
caves of decay, myriad wards
doused with the sullen pallor
of flickering flourescent
recollecton:
halls of malfunction-machinery
spewing harsh white noise,
a baleful ambient
dissonance through dead-end
thoughtways that

- Cut.

Astral ProjectionA tale of premature births
and phenomena: of brick-red light
in the flurrying night, and miracle babies
encased in white-noise machinery
(that's shooting to the stars).

The first lights
are always the brightest:
A lunar entrapment greets newborn cries
in the (ampi)theatre; appliance-white
audiences sound alarms of appreciation for
twitching limbs and erratic heartbeats
brought forth (too early) to this planetary
stage of enchantment.

Six weeks short would turn to
six feet tall, and with life-flashing
mental movies my plot-circles revolve;
exposing galactic mysteries with
a grim resolve:
And it goes a little

If the toning appears particularly wonky, let me know. This is my first piece I've worked on using my new monitor and the colour-space is all wrong compared to what I am used to.

It's a single exposure, with camera rotation and lens zoom during exposure. The model also shifted from one side of the frame to the other before the shutter closed.
