Yes indeed, the lunar aspect is one that caught my attention while putting this little series together. It was rather accidental at the time, but maybe it was somewhere down in the subconscious, heh. Thank-you for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it.

Very interesting with the cross, they turn this photograph into something else, and much more intriguing.

Thank-you kindly; I'm glad that you find something of note with the processing; it's something that I will be experimenting further with in future: that is, once I have a fully-functioning computer again!

Ah, many thanks. The reticules were added afterwards; I have experimented in the past with print-outs on acetates but I've not found a technique that works quite yet.

When I was a kid I went through a stage of wanting to design music cover art, so that is a great compliment. I'm rather partial to post-rock, too! Thank-you for the comment, it's appreciated.

It's not likely that I will make wallpapers; it's not something I have ever done before. If I do, though, I'll let you know.

I noticed that the arrangement of the +'s vary on each of the photos; do they have any significance? Or was it just random?

It's number symbolism, of sorts. A clue for each is left in the Artist's Comments of each piece, but it's more of an extra dimension of interest than the conceptual entirety of the images: it started out as a purely aesthetic decision, to further remove the scenes from the mundane and to introduce a sense of the unknown throughout.

This is really a thought-provoking series of conceptual works; the coupling of symbols with the beach backdrop help explore the edge of an imagined, introspected universe.

Thank-you kindly. I was going for an otherworldly sense of the unknown and subsequent discovery so I am glad it translates across, in some manner or another.
