Check me, releasing work soon after it is taken! I think this could well be the first time that a piece has reached deviantart in less than a fortnight. Of course, I'm pushing that window to the extreme but that's okay, I can still claim that it is recently-taken.

This is the first of a short series of images taken in Cramlington park. I struggled between black & white and colour for this image, but in the end I decided that the tones were too rich to abolish. If people disagree, feel free to speak up. I might upload an alternative version externally for those who are that bothered.

The title comes from the Kyuss track of the same name, and while there was also some consternation deciding the name of the piece, it's a title that I am personally happy with. Should anyone have some awesome ideas, you're welcome to suggest those too.

Expect more similar shots in the near future. Probably in colour, too. I suppose it's good to get out of the black & white rut if nothing else. Now to do something about this square-format tic...
