Project2010: 074 of 375 (March 5th)

Taking a break from coursework through exhaustion. I'll get some more uploaded in the coming hours, probably. This one is from December 2007, dug up from my archives on the 5th March.

Title comes from the James Blackshaw album of the same name, and comes highly recommended. Listen to Past Has Not Passed here if you have any appreciation of subtle and slow-burning musical genius.

In my opinion you're one of the most influential artists here on DA who is able to define the art of abstract photography in a completely new and unseen way then ever before.
This work of yours is definitely unique in terms of color, composition and message.
I greatly appreciate your work!

Heh, it's one that I am fond of, that much is certain. I'm not sure why it took me so long to work on it.

Sometimes it's the ones that fight you that turn out the best.

They certainly give a better sense of achievement when something comes of them, that much is true.

Yep. Though I will admit to liking the feeling of being able to just make it work as much as/more than that. Ha!

It looks the way nostalgia should feel.

That's something I would not disagree with. My first impression was an underwater scene but I went with the title following a change of thought processing on my part, which is closer to what you are suggesting.

Heh, thank-you for that. This was taken at home, actually; it's just made interesting my deliberately throwing the focus off to a certain degree.
