Related items: "Deadwood" series

This is the first shot from my Deadwoods series, which looks at decay from a natural perspective, rather than the man-made regression that is my Everything Must Go collection of images.

This shot was taken in Cramlington park, and is part of a succession of similarly-styled images that will be uploaded in the near future. They were created for a college project looking at narrow focus and the actions of nature through the seasons (and years).

There are more examples to come in the near future.

Sort of a rough, frayed picture. The wood seems stubborn but again wise. You can see it's wounds and punctures, and yet, it still remains strong on it's feet.

Beautiful photo.

Love is not a feeling, but an ability.

This has so much movement, D, like all the years of growth and decay are happening at once and heading for my face.

Yet what is any ocean but a multitude of drops?

Yeah, I'm rather fond of this series of work. There are lots of similar shots but they're different enough for me to justify their submission.

Thank-you for that, and the favourite-list addition. Your continued support of my stuff means a lot. :]

Thank-you for that. Yeah, I like working with narrow focus. :]

Incredible, dreamy atmosphere. Feels almost as if I'm gazing into the past.
:iconarctoa:
I guess that, in a sense, you are.
:iconlimnides:
I s'pose so, huh.
