The image was taken in September of 2005, in Newcastle's City centre. I think that the building is now 55 Degrees North, some swanky hotel/plaza. It was still under refurbishment at the time, though, and looked particularly foreboding. It's not the only building in that area to look as such, and I will return at some point. I believe it was an office block before-hand, for British Telecom. It's a pretty bleak-looking building; almost fascist in its architecture; all grey angles. I've tried to reproduce that.

The companion piece to this is the poem Skylined, inevitably. For a time they were paired together, before my decision to split everything up.
