2+2... of a kind by =CGiraldez is a finely-crafted conceptual piece with a wonderful balance of form and an endearing aesthetic and choice of subject matter. The subtle toning and framing lends itself well to the scene, and the silhouette nature of the focal point adds a certain element of intrigue.
While the shot is technically outstanding and capable of evoking a reaction in the observer, it is a scene that is seen often on deviantART and beyond: so in terms of a critical viewpoint it doesn't bring much that is new to the table. However, that shouldn't count against the piece: personally, I have no problem seeing new versions of commonplace compositions and in this case it's a fine addition to the style.
With the previous paragraph in mind it's easy to suggest that this piece has no lasting impact, but I would disagree with that assertion. The composition is perfectly composed: there's no possible way I could suggest an improvement. The horizontal bars that break up the composition are in their right place; one could suggest that they could be closer together or evenly distributed in thirds, but I enjoy the way they appear to lead up to the top of the image where the focal intrigue is taking place. The vignette works too; it helps draw the eye to the right places.
In conclusion, this is a fine image and an impressive piece of self-expression.
